First, I'd like to Welcome Mrs. O to our class! We are so excited to have her as our EA!
Today the Grade 1's also had a chance to get together with their Grade 3 buddy. They got to know each other at the assembly and then we got together in the afternoon to celebrate International Dot Day. Together we created an art project that was, well, dotty! :)
Today we also had a special guest, and her puppet friend (Lenny was a hit!), teach us about Bus Safety. They brought a real bus with them! We got to go on it (no ride, just parked) and practice how to ride and exit a bus safely. We learned some very important things.
Finally, we had a visit from Zero the Hero! Zero is a Hero because he helps other numbers keep counting! He brought a treat for us to count because today was the 10th day of school. He promised to visit us every 10 days as we learn to count to 100!
