Penguins!

Here we are hard at work researching penguins! Did you know there are 17 species of penguins?! We are learning about 7 of them. Each group is researching one species and will present their learning with a poster and diarama. We enjoyed painting the penguin habitats today after researching. We discovered some penguins live in open waters, some on rocky shores, and others on water and ice.

We invited Mrs. Nuttall's Grade 1 class to come and share their penguin stories with us! 4 students took the 'Author's Chair' and shared their very creative stories. Thank you 1N!
