Zoo!

It was fun-filled and relaxing day together as we meandered through the zoo. We saw lots of animals, rode the train and merry-go-round, brushed the farm animals at the petting zoo, learned about caribou and reindeer horns, climbed the beaver dams, visited the sea lions and lizards and monkeys, enjoyed a picnic, and of course saw Lucy the elephant. It was a long hot day! We were relieved to find a sprinkler to run through in  the afternoon! Thank you to all the volunteers and parents who accompanied us! It was a super kick off to summer!
