In the Classroom:
ELA: Writing in our Grade One Friends book, Phonics/Printing, Introduction to the Daily 5: Read to Self, Theme book: Fletcher and the Falling Leaves
Math: Numbers 1-20 continued. Working with Ten-frames, creating a class Number Line (Numbers 1-20), Subitizing activities (knowing how many there are without counting) and more!
Science: Seasonal Change (Autumn) including the first day of fall, animals in the fall, and learning about Canadian Geese. We will do Autumn art based on the book, Fletcher and the Falling Leaves.
Social: Please bring a photo of your family for a special display! :)
PE: Last week we participated in Locomotor stations. This week we will do more Movement activities and games.
