We donned some chef hats and mixed up some consonants as we learned about blends! We are currently studying S blends. A couple word sorts have been sent home. Have your child show you how they can sort the pictures according the s blend. We will be whipping up some l and r blends soon!

Meghan from Teachers' Pet was fantastic! She told us a funny story about all these animals that ended up at her house. She asked for our help in making some animal enclosures. We had to ensure the animals had everything they needed to be happy and healthy, and of course so they would not escape again! She set up a store and gave us money to buy materials. We really had to think to make the best enclosure with our bucks! It was a fun and educational afternoon. Huge thanks to our fabulous volunteers: Mrs. Forchuk, Mrs. Davis, and Mr. Milson. It was great to have you!
