*Please Return Books and Beads folders, all classroom and library books Monday. Kanga pouches (bookbags) will be sent home for the last time Monday. Please empty the book bag, thoroughly wipe it clean and return by Wednesday. Kanga pouches will be passed on to the Gr. 2 teachers for your child's use next year. Thank you.

Special Days this week:
Wednesday is Earth Ranger Day. We will learn more about endangered species and get close to nature today. Students will participate in a Scavenger Hunt.
Friday is PJ, Stuffie, and Movie Day. Students can come dressed for a cozy day. We are swimming, watching a movie, and having our final school Assembly.

In the Classroom:
ELA: We will continue with our regular Daily 5, including finishing our study of blends and our last word sort. Students will meet with me for our last guided reading session, and will listen to stories shared by classmates. We will complete our Fairy Tale unit.
Math: We will complete our Story Problem unit and practice our Basic Facts.
Science: Welcoming the season of Summer and caring for Animals. Reminder to fill out the Zoo permission form online!
Social: Interview questions and Museum items are due Monday. We will Show and Share Monday through Thursday.
