Swimming and Special Days

Last Day of Lessons at the Pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our swim lesson every day. The students did great learning new skills and practicing them for the past 2 weeks. Every student will receive a Swim-at-School report card that highlights the swim skills they have mastered and what Red Cross swim level they can register in.

Tree huggers!

On Earth Ranger Day we watched some funny animal videos, participated in a Scavenger Hunt, and got to bring a stuffed animal to school. The Scavenger Hunt was both a sensory and active challenge. See pics of the Scavenger Hunt here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1jVVQ5oNXNHb0JsU2gxOGowUjQ

PJ Day!

Friday was a cozy day for watching some book movies and chillin' with our Jammies and Stuffies. It was a very restful but also busy day with swimming and the final Assembly. If you haven't yet seen the year-end slide show. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx_mXRfx5EArRVVhNkJrTHFkUkE/view
Finally, we shared our Museum items. See pics here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1jVVQ5oNXNHdFV4RDFmb3h4VlE  There were so many interesting items brought in from the Past. Some from very long ago and other things from the more recent past. All items and presentations gave us a glimpse back in time and we had a great discussion of how things have changed and how things are the same or different. Thank you so much to all the families who were able to send in these items and share a piece of history with us. Your support is much appreciated!
