Tomorrow is the Terry Fox run/walk. We are planning to go rain or shine, unless it's a real downpour! Please dress for the weather. Students are also encouraged to wear red or white. The Terry Fox event starts at 10am in the gym. All are welcome! 'Toonies for Terry' can be brought to class or put in the collection can in the office. Thanks for your support.
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer. If your child would like to run for someone special, we can put the name of that person on the sticker they will be wearing tomorrow. Discuss this with your child so s/he is able to tell me the name. The sticker says "I am running for___________." If there is no one specific, we will simply write 'Terry'. We will be talking about Terry Fox in class so students can learn more about this Canadian hero.
