Tuesday: 50th Day of School. Optional dress-up day (50s style!)
Wednesday: Library
Thursday: Yellow words! Practice all the Orange words this week.
Friday: Weekly Assembly 8:45am

ELA: Daily 5. Students will be working through 5 rotations every day.

We are doing mini writers workshops for the next two weeks to help us become confident writers! This week we will look at spacing.
The Printing module we begin this week will also help us with our writing. Information on letter formation will be sent home after each session.
We are doing a close reading of The Mitten by Jan Brett. We will do some sequencing activities, a retelling of the story, and some mitten art.
Math: Numbers 1 to 20 with a focus on the teen numbers. We are working on Counting on, Adding 10 plus some more, Using 10-frames, and Problem Solving. We are doing whole group lessons, plus center activities to reinforce the concepts.
Science: Experiments with Texture and Taste. Sensory Centers. And a final project for this unit.
Music: With the Christmas concert approaching, we will be practicing, practicing!! Can't wait for this special concert event!
