Happy New Year from 1K!

Happy New Year!

We rang in the New Year together by reading a story called, Squirrel's New Year's Resolution, and then wrote our own resolution on our bell. It was really touching to see that most of the students chose 'Help Others' as their resolution. 

We also read a poem of silly resolutions and wrote a class poem together. :)

This year I’d like to be elastic.

I want to be an alien.

I want to be a kangaroo.

I’d like to shrink and fit into a drawer.

I want to be a dolphin.

I want to ride a dinosaur.

I’d like to jump so high I touch the moon.

I want to be a fish.

I want to be a puppy.

I want to be a bag and carry anything!

I want to be a cat.

I want to be a book.

I want to be a shark.

I want to fly.

I wish I could be a wish!
