Friday: Book orders due. Assembly 8:45am, Hockey Fieldtrip 10:30am, Magical Munsch 1:30pm.
In the Classroom:
ELA/Science: We are working on Penguin Research Books. Students decided what pages we should include in our non-fiction book. They decided to include: what penguins look like, where penguins live, what penguins eat, penguin predators, how penguins move, and penguin babies. They also decided we need a title page and a table of contents. We are also reading some fiction books with penguins as characters, writing silly penguin sentences, practicing our pink words, and words for the spelling bee, as well as our regular Daily 5.
Math: Adding and Subtracting, Problem Solving, Working with Numbers up to 100
Social: Me on the Map Project (story and flipbook)
