Rainbows and Leprechauns

Students explored with prisms and sunlight to try to make a rainbow. And they did it!

We also did some planting this week. We set up an experiment to try and grow a leprechaun.  Keep you posted!

Leprechaun Traps
Finally, the students brought home information for a Leprechaun Trap project. This is part of the building things unit in science. Students are so excited about this project! They will present their projects before we set them up on March 16. Students should be prepared to say what materials they used and how they fastened it together.  They had some really amazing ideas for their traps!  We are hoping one will catch a leprechaun!  :)
