Education Week

Meet our Peer Teachers! They did a fantastic job teaching the 3 student groups all about planting. Students who visited their Planting class planted a sunflower and sampled sunflower seeds. :)  The rest of the 1K students returned with excitement for all the classes they attended! It was a great afternoon! 

Today we had not one, but two, special guest readers. The Lion's Club came and read us a beautiful story and donated a book to our classroom library! We are so thankful for the Lion's support of reading!

We also enjoyed a story read by a Grade 4 student. It was a really fun book and he read with great expression! Thanks Ryley!

Also today, we participated in a Teacher Riddle contest. We had to read clues about the Teaching staff and guess who they were. Congratulations to Brayden, Brody, and Esha who got all 20 riddles correct! Their names will go in a draw, winners announced tomorrow!

Remember tomorrow is Early Dismissal and...national Hats off for Mental Health Day. Students are welcome to wear a hat tomorrow if they choose. :)
