Students were introduced to Giraffee and Juice, my pet Hermit Crabs. We are taking care of them for the next couple weeks as we learn about their specific needs and habitat. We read a fun book by Eric Carle called A Home for Hermit Crab and decorated shells for a hermit crab home. We also got to watch Juice in action as he (crab) walked around to say hello to us at circle time and got a fun surprise after recess when Giraffee changed shells!!
