Happy New Year from 1B

Students wrote their resolutions on these New Years bells.

We also read a funny New Years poem by Kenn Nesbitt then wrote silly New Year's Resolutions which we illustrated and made into a class book.

The funniest book we read so far this year is this one:

Everyone is hoping to have a chance to borrow this one from the library so they can share it with you at home! 

We ended off our New Year's celebration with a fun fireworks art project. Students make their own scratch art paper before etching in their fireworks display. Ask how they did it!
