Ice Sculptures, A Play, and Winter Walk Day

Students were enthralled with this hilarious and touching play about a plant who comes to terms with growing up, body changes, and friendship.

We teamed up with our gym buddy class to build this awesome ice sculpture. Our sculpture went through many transformations as the students worked together creatively, solving problems, and having fun with this challenge. It was a  great project to start off our day. Thank you so much to all the parents who froze ice blocks for us, and who lent a helping hand Wednesday morning!

Winter Walk Day! We could not have asked for a better day for this event. Thanks to the parents who walked with us and prepared/served up hot chocolate afterwards. Much thanks to the Town of Devon and Tim Hortons for the donations. :)
