This Week:
It's Swimming Week 1! Bring a swimsuit and towel everyday this week. Our swim lesson time is 9:50-10:20am. You are welcome to watch!
Monday: Swimming, Books and Beads, Zoo Permission online
Tuesday: Swimming, Friendship Day
Wednesday: Volunteer Appreciation, Swimming
Thursday: Swimming, Imagination Day, Last day for Books and Beads
Friday: Assembly, Swimming
In the Classroom:
ELA: Fairytales, Reading Assessments, Daily 5
Math: Adding and Subtracting Story problems, Basic Facts to 5
Science: Seasonal Change Summer
Social: Changes over Time, Comparing the Past to Now. Students have been asked to Interview someone about what it was like long ago. Students have brought home two questions. Students will be sharing their questions/answers in class next week. Students can also bring in an item from the past to display in our museum. We will show and share next week.
Special Days in June: The students have created a bucket list of activities that they would like to do before the end of the school year. We have made some special days for these activities.
Friendship Day: Students can bring a game or toy to play with a friend, Tuesday, June 14.
Imagination Day: We are doing crafts and creating on Thursday, June 16.
Next week is The First Day of Summer Day, Earth Ranger Day, and PJ/Stuffie/Movie Day. More info to come.
