In the Classroom:
ELA:
Students will practice all the red words this week while I assess. Students should be able to read, without hesitation, all of the red words.
Students were introduced to the chromebooks. We will be incorporating chromebook use during our Daily 5 time.
This week students will be listening to stories with a Remembrance Day theme and writing about Peace.

Math:
We are focusing on Teen numbers this week. We will play a game called Scrambled Eggs.
Science:
Students will be introduced to the KWL research tool as we discuss what we Know, Want to know, and What we've Learned about Bats. We will use non-fiction text and video to gather info, and will do an activity to demonstrate one way that Bats help people.
Social:
We are learning about Groups in our Community. Students will be doing a Show and Share activity. More information will be send home this week.
