ELA
We are doing an Elf theme this week. Students will be filling out a Job Application and writing about why they would make good elves. We will Elf ourselves in some fun art. Students will get 5 yellow sight words to study and I will be assessing the orange words. Students will be introduced to Spelling City. The link is on the right. We will be playing Mouse Trap. Guided Reading groups will continue. |

Math
We are working with Numbers. This week our focus will be on skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s.
Science
We are starting to observe Seasonal Change: Winter. We are planning our Winter Walk for Dec. 21 (weather permitting). If you would like to join us for the walk, let me know!
Social
All about the Polar Express!
We begin a journey around the world this week. Students have already packed their suitcases. On Monday, students will receive a train ticket and we will begin our adventure. We are learning about Christmas Traditions around the world through reading, writing, crafts and other activities.
