In the Classroom

ELA

Animated Literacy: We have covered P, U, O, X, M, A, D.  Students are using the letters build words. T and S are next!
Words Their Way: It's our last week for Beginning Sounds sorts.
Home Reading will begin this week.
We will do Thanksgiving themed reading and writing this week.

Math

Patterning is our focus this month. This Week we will look for patterns in our environment, build, and copy simple patterns.

Science

We are finishing up our study of Fall before the snow comes to stay! We are reading about animals in fall and how they prepare for winter. We will take a close look at Canadian Geese.

Social

We have a few more students to share their Me bags.

Thanks to Everyone who supported the Terry Fox walk and Fall walk this past week. We enjoyed two beautiful days walking Devon's trails, glad so many of you could join us!
